Simon has 6 nominations on the shortlist for the 2008 ASA Awards.

Debut album 'Between the Noise' available now.

Simon will be singing every Thursday night in the house band on popular Channel 9 program 'The Footy Show'.

Simon has won the APRA Songwriter's Award at the 2007 Musicoz Awards for his song 'What a Day'. This song was a real labour of love for Simon and Lindsay Rimes who Produced, engineered and mixed the track, so this win is particularly special.

Simon has won the pop category in the prestigous song of the year competition for September with 'Anything to Anyone'. He is now in the running for the major award to be announced early in 2008.

Songwriter of the year’ at 2007 ASA awards

Simon won the major award, ‘Songwriter of the year’ at the 27th annual ASA awards, announced 30th August, 2007.

Two songs from Simon’s upcoming album made it to the final list of nominations.

Anything To Anyone’  won the award for best Rock\Indie song, whilst ‘Someone Else’ placed in the top ten for best pop song.

*The ASA(Australian songwriters association) National Songwriting Contest began in 1979, and is Australia’s longest running and biggest songwriting contest for professional and amateur songwriters.

This contest is highly respected and extremely prestigious, offering more than $25,000 in prizes. APRA/AMCOS is the Major Sponsor for 2007. The Top 10 Finalists in each Category are recognised at the ASA’s gala National Awards Night, in front of top music industry professionals.

City Talks to be used on closing credits on ‘Hollywood’ film

‘City Talks’, from Simon’s soon to be released album, is to feature in Helicon Arts production YESTERDAY WAS A LIE , a ground breaking new noir film from award-winning  American writer\producer James Kerwin.

The full-feature is a classic detective mystery with the imagination of science fantasy and a very modern twist.

Feature artist at ‘Royal Easter Show’

Simon performed seven shows to thousands of spectators at this years ‘Royal Easter Show on the main entertainment stage.

The show is an Australian icon and ward winning event and organisers hand pick the artists that get to play each year.

Simon played six shows with his trio at popular semi open-air venue ‘The Shed’, and also performed at the prestigious  ‘Miss Show-girl’ awards ceremony.

Support artist for ‘Spencer Davis group’

Simon played an acoustic set before the ‘Spencer Davis Group’ at five shows on their recent tour of Oz.

The  ‘Spencer Davis Group’ have over a dozen top ten hits including the famed ‘Gimme some lovin’, ‘Keep on running’ and ‘I’m a man’.
